PMI's Envelope Surface Area Analyzer (ESA) provides a simple, fast, and reliable method for measuring external surface area — a measurement not readily achieved using static nitrogen adsorption (BET) methods. The ESA utilizes flow permeameter combined with a sophisticated self-adjusting viscous-flow controller, enabling accurate testing of a wide range of powders and other materials, including samples with surface areas of only a few square meters per gram.
- Uses nitrogen or other noncorrosive gases; no expensive gas mixtures required.
- Windows-based software handles all control, measurement, data collection, and report generation; manual control also possible.
- Compatible with Windows XP or higher.
