Cyclic Pressure Control System

Overview

The APP Cyclic Pressure Control System (CPCS) is designed to generate precisely controlled cyclic pressure profiles for fatigue testing, durability testing, and pressure cycling applications. The system supports both pneumatic and hydraulic operation. The pneumatic system operates up to 5,000 psi, while the hydraulic system operates up to 60,000 psi. The CPCS is fully automated and microprocessor-controlled, allowing users to define minimum and maximum pressure limits, pressure ramp rates, dwell times, and cycle frequency. The system is suitable for laboratory, production, and research applications.

  • Highly accurate pressure transducer monitors system pressure and provides feedback.
  • User-defined multiple target pressures, holding times, dwell times, and pressurization rates.
  • Pressure cycling capability for conducting fatigue testing of materials.
  • Tests can be performed under elevated temperature to simulate actual operating conditions (optional).
  • Multi-level, fail-safe system provides over-pressurization protection.
  • Windows-based software handles all control, measurement, data collection, and report generation; complete manual control also possible.
  • Compatible with Windows ’98 and higher.
  • Windows-based control software with real-time graphical display.
  • Multiple pressure outlet ports available.
  • Automatic pressure generator refill for high volume situations.
  • Multiple pressure generator systems for continuous and multi-axis pressurization (optional).
  • Customized report formats available.
  • Minimal maintenance required.
