Automated Multi-Sample Porosimeter and Permeameter (MSPDP)
The PMI Multi-Sample Porosimeter and Permeameter is a fully automated instrument used to measure the porosity and permeability of plug-sized core samples. The applied confining pressure can reach up to 10,000 psi.

Overview
The PMI Multi-Sample Porosimeter and Permeameter is a fully automated instrument used to measure the porosity and permeability of plug-sized core samples. The applied confining pressure can reach up to 10,000 psi. PMI software is provided for automatic control, data acquisition, computation, analysis, and report generation. Permeability determination is based on the principle of transient analysis of gas pressure decay. Porosity and pore volume are measured using the Boyle's Law.
- Fully automatic measurements of porosity and permeability.
- Automatic control for applying and releasing confining pressure.
- Automatic loading and unloading of samples.
- PMI software for system control, data acquisition, and analysis.

Helium Porosimeter
The instrument is designed to accurately measure the effective porosity of plug-sized rock samples using Boyle's Law. The sample is placed in a sample cell.

Gas Pycnometer and Helium Pycnometers
PMI's Gas Pycnometer provides a reliable measurement of the absolute density of solid materials. The Gas Pycnometer performs a fully automated, non-destructive test that allows the user to control the number of test iterations, thereby adjusting test duration and measurement accuracy.

Educational Gas Permeameter
The PMI Educational Gas Permeameter is designed for instructional use in universities and other teaching institutions. The instrument features a robust design suitable for repeated student use.

Steady State Liquid Permeameter
The PMI Steady State Liquid Permeameter is used to measure the permeability of samples such as oil-well cores, tight gas sandstones, and other low-permeability rocks. Liquids such as brine, oil, and other compatible fluids are used as the permeating medium.
